Collective agreement for the future 2024+ for the Oberderdingen site
Following in-depth, very constructive negotiations, the E.G.O.-Group (E.G.O.), the Works Council, and IG Metall have agreed on a collective labor agreement that will run until the end of 2029 and will secure jobs at the headquarters in Oberderdingen.
The E.G.O.-Group is feeling the effects of the crisis in the household appliance industry and saw a drop in turnover last year. However, the management board has taken steps to steer away from the crisis.
Various measures have made the business group more efficient and positioned E.G.O. more effectively on the market. Innovations at all stages of development offer potential for the future.

Oberderdingen – The E.G.O.-Group (E.G.O.) achieved turnover of EUR 805 million in 2022. During the pandemic, the business group benefited from the cocooning trend and correspondingly high demand for household appliances.

In January, Dr. Clemens Philippson will take over the newly created position of Chief Sales and Technology Officer (CSTO). He holds a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and brings 20 years of experience in the household appliance industry to Oberderdingen in Baden.

The signs continue to point towards growth: While it may not have seemed possible at first, E.G.O.'s turnover increased by almost 18% to 772 million euros in 2021. At the beginning of the year, the household appliance supplier based in Oberderdingen, Baden, had to cope with massive supply problems due to the pandemic.
